Hi all,

Just wanted to share my good news - I WON MY APPEALBigGrin and represented my self with my husband attending as my carer and for support. After reading through my reports, I was led into a room with a judge and doctor who immediately told me that they were very sympathetic and understanding of my condition. I was only asked a few basic questions about my medical history and within 15 minutes they had reached a decision to place me in the "Support Group."

Thank you all for the ongoing support, especially Carol without her advice and from the Benefit & Work site, I would not have been able to have done this on my ownThumpUp.
I'm now hoping that I will be left alone for a while, as I can do without the stress of having to deal with the DWP, and the incompetence of staff who clearly do not know what they are doing.

love and well wishes,

Barbara

I am thrilled for you Barbara but so annoyed that you had to endure all of the stress and worry of appealing. It was obvious from the beginning that you were entitled to this.

well done Barbara. I am so cross at the criminal waste of money making us go through these. I am in touch with my MP over it.

What good News - congratulations. Like Jan, I am angry about the waste of money - perhaps things will be changing? (the Pollyanna in me)
